‘Tis the season for a bargain, FA LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA!
I cannot deny a good sale and will be the first to admit that I rarely ever buy anything at full price. Furthermore, what better time is there to do your Christmas shopping than now during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Am-I-right?!
HOLD YOUR REINDEERS! Just a friendly reminder to you shoppers out there that not all of us can mark down our products with extravagant discounts. Small businesses like us are living out a dream to sell things that we have put our hearts and souls into. We jump through hoops to find affordable materials, sometimes to find local suppliers in need of our support, to construct things with our hands and/or special tools. Running a small business usually means that we are also doing our own administrative work to keep track of sales, expenses, marketing (yawn!) and what a bore that is. I drag my feet to get these things done all the time.
The Point: we cannot ever charge enough for our time and effort, therefore we do not, and it can be a bit of a stretch to put things on sale.
Supporting small business can benefit you in other ways than just saving a buck. Listed below are some of the reasons why:
