It has been a long minute since my last entry. The lack of activity was mostly due to the heavy workload of my full-time job and then I spent a month away to travel Greece. Since coming back (and recovering from severe jetlag), a little love and attention was put into this beloved side hustle. Watch this space for some new and exciting things to come for the future of Yarn & Marble.

Here is the big fat clue, and a glimpse into my own personal journey each year as I enter the whimsical word of other crafters and makers…

As Christmas approaches, the anticipation for makers markets begins to build, slowly giving way to excitement that is palpable. All eyes are on the unique and enchanting stalls that will soon be unveiled, captivating visitors from the moment they step foot in the market. Each seemingly ordinary stall transforms into a work of art, reflecting the creativity and craftsmanship of its owner. Curiosity leads them deeper into the market, where treasures await within each stall. Ornate ornaments, lovingly handcrafted, dangle delicately, capturing the essence of the season. From artisanal pottery to handpoured candles, carefully shaped, is placed with care, offering a touch of elegance and refinement. Other stalls showcase an array of gifts, carefully curated to delight and inspire even the most discerning of shoppers. Their attention to detail in stall appearance is more than mere aesthetics, as it ensures that the makers market is a feast for the senses. It guarantees an unforgettable experience for all who muster the courage to venture into its enchanting realm, where the magic of the holidays springs to life in every nook and cranny.
